Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actress who became famous due to her roles in films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The movie Piano earned her numerous awards including an Oscar. In her early years her acclaimed actress started playing on stage for various Broadway or Off-Broadway shows. As a child, Helen Keller was her most loved character from a fifth grade play. Mumps made her lose hearing in one of her ears, but this was not enough to stop the actress from pursuing her dream. When she was in college studying drama, she moved in New York City with her ambitions with her sights set. She ran into Beth Henley in an elevator and they worked together on Broadway Crimes of the Heart which was Hunter's debut film. When she moved from Los Angeles she tried to find film roles, and was able to secure the role of a co-star for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. Holly Hunter has been in several films, TV series and movies over the course of her 30-year career. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame star as well as a winner of the Women in Film Lucy Award.
