Morgan starred in the Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS prevention and education. Morgan gave a percentage of her income for the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force behind many fund-raising campaigns for the disease. She also spoke before the Congressional special committee on AIDS education. She sits on the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada has requested her to replace him in a few occasions at AIDS associated events. Additionally she hosted the AIDS Awareness Special alongside Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have been on Nightline two times to talk about AIDS. Morgan was nominated for the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan.
