Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actress and producer. She has gained recognition for her outstanding roles in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Piano, as well as The Incredibles. She has won many awards for her performance, including an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive experience of performing on Broadway as well as Off-Broadway productions. As a child, Helen Keller was her favorite character in a 5th class production. She became deaf in one ear following a bout of the mumps virus, however she did not permit this to deter her determination to become an actor. She was a drama major at the college, and then moved from Pittsburgh to New York City to follow her dreams. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. After moving to Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged a supporting role in Swing Shift. In the years since, she has been in a variety of television series and movies over a career spanning more than three decades. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was also awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
